We would like to provide you with some useful information to help you on your way to passing your test and a lifetime of safe driving.
What you need to bring with you on your first driving lesson
You’ll need both parts of your driving license. You must have this in your possession before lessons can start. If you ware glasses bring them too. You should be able to read a car number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres. Sunglasses are good, especially for winter evenings when the sun is low. Something else to bear in mind is your footwear, soft shoes rather then hard shoes will give you a better feel for the pedals.
Our lesson cancellation policy
You must give the instructor, directly by the means of a telephone call, at least two working days notice (a working day being Monday to Friday inclusive) if you wish to cancel a driving lesson, otherwise you will still be liable for the lesson fee in respect to that lesson.
Studying for your theory test
When looking for study material its easy to get confused with the wide range on offer. My advice would be to stick to the official Driving Standards Agency (DSA) material.
Booking your theory and practical driving test
The quickest and easiest way to book your official Driving Standards Agency (DSA) driving theory and practical driving test is online. http://www.direct.gov.uk/ Alternatively you can call the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) on: 0300 200 1122. Opening Hours: From 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday
When booking your practical driving test you’ll need your instructor’s ADI number. Your instructor will be able to supply you with this information.
