Drivers being warned to prepare for the worst ever pothole season. Over the coming months the roads will thaw and crack creating hundreds and thousands of potholes.
Due to the icy conditions last year British motorists paid out £320million to repair damage cause by potholes.
Given the severity to the start of winter this year this figure is likely to rise.
